On Off Digital World and Nuclear Armageddon

To me, On Off Digital World is similar to the old Montgomery Ward in Penn Station, one of them big old old-fashioned electronics retailers you used to find all over New York City. These guys were basically mom-and-pop operations that got kind of big, to where they had perhaps fifty employees — still considered a small business by most criteria but clearly rather successful. But that was all before the big box stores and I was still a youth then so they all seemed “big” to me — after all, there were so many gizmos available! That’s what comes to mind whenever I happen by a store like this.
